NAD (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide)

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is vital for our cells. The molecule is involved in hundreds of enzymatic reactions that are important for energy production in the mitochondria, DNA repair and the immune response, among other things. With age, a diet high in fat and sugar, chronic inflammation or mitochondrial disorders, the NAD balance becomes increasingly disrupted. This can promote age-related and chronic diseases. The NAD test can be used to reliably determine an NAD deficiency or imbalance, find a personalized therapy strategy and monitor existing therapy.
